Pine & Reid

Pine & Reid is a branding concept for an eco-conscious, outdoor clothing and active wear store. The brand would would encourage urban adults to escape their busy lives and reconnect with nature. For those of us who were not exposed to outdoor adventure activities as kids, learning about all the equipment and skills for the first time can be intimidating—and the rugged, extreme branding typical to most outdoor retailers doesn't help. Pine & Reid offers a less intense, more down-to-earth experience, creating an inviting environment. The design style looks to the Arts & Crafts movement which in its time promoted a return to the natural world, to craft and human creation, and to a more interconnected society.
